Large and rare grotesque Art Deco porcelain model of a bird by Hans Küster for Rosenthal. Hand made in the 1920s as an aroma diffuser that worked through heat conduction. All electric components have long since been removed.
Condition: Good condition commensurate with age; minor flaking and crazing to concealed inner head support where fragrant herbs or incense would be stored
