Rare hand painted fantasy Horse by Hans Küster, named 'Bucephalus' after Alexander The Great's horse, for Rosenthal circa 1925. Hans Küster (1899 - 1963) was a relatively private German artist who created a line of porcelain fantasy animals strong in Jazz Age color and form in his early 20's while working for Philipp Rosenthal.
