Wonderful post modern porcelain coffee set by the architecture firm Gwathmey Siegel for Swid Powell, circa 1984.
This is the original design as submitted by Gwathmey Siegel, which was quickly changed to include a curved vs. angled handle due to difficulty during the manufacturing process. In wonderful condition save for a tiny firing mark on the bottom of the coffee pot's cruciform base. Fully signed. Minimal use - sugar retains label.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition
Size: 9 inches high (coffee pot)
Origin: Japan
