Rare neoclassical Scandanavian vessel depicting a fish with upturned face, executed in bronzed Disko Metal by master jewelry designer and metalsmith Just Andersen circa 1930. Disko Metal is an alloy of Andersen's own invention, named after the Disko Bay of Greenland.
